Usinsk city Part 1

Usinsk is another example of a tiny town located in the oil production region where nobody would be living if there was no oil. This cities look like twins usually, but still there are always some distinctive features. In Usinsk for instance there's this strange amusement park with some aerial and land vehicles located there for God knows what purpose.

These pictures were taken in April.

There's a pretty nice orthodox church in Usinsk. It's kind of irony, but the church is located on "Pioneer's street' and in Soviet Unions Pioneers organization (something like Scouts in US) was strictly atheistic as it was guided by Communist party.

Church is located at the edge of the town and on one of the widest streets, which actually literally crosses all the town.

Weird looking hotel located somehow away from anything.

"Amusement park"

Plane standing right by the residential building is kind of cool.

There's also some land vehicles and weapons.

'Let's invade downtown!'

And a big helicopter.
