Winter pics (contd)

In Russia there are no Christmas trees, well there are decorated fir trees and pine trees but they are called new year trees. Previously before 1917 revolution they were called X-trees, but revolutionary heroes were fighting against religion and trying to eliminate everything related to it. In 1920s they even tried to do without old names of week days, because Sunday in Russian is literally a 'Resurrection day', well it didn't work luckily.
